Staples needed to make an impression at their annual retailer conference - not with a traditional booth, but with a fully immersive brand experience that attendees could walk through and interact with. The setup had to include a functioning pop-up breakroom, a consultation area for vendor meetings, and oversized dimensional signage pieces that reinforced Staples' brand identity. Everything needed to ship efficiently, set up quickly in a convention center lobby, and look polished from every angle.
Working alongside Prismaflex International, we developed a fully immersive conference experience using Prismacore - a proprietary lightweight material that's strong enough for structural builds but light enough to ship flat and assemble fast. The centerpiece was a 'Big Business Breakroom' pop-up featuring a coffee station and meeting area framed by natural wood slat accents and bold red brand panels. Prismaflex's fabrication expertise brought the concept to life with a retail-style consultation booth with product displays and vendor meeting space. The installation also included two large-scale dimensional signage pieces - a 3D 'easy OMG!' display and an oversized 'That Was Easy' button - both designed as freestanding photo-worthy moments throughout the venue.
The pop-up was assembled on-site with minimal crew and drew consistent foot traffic throughout the conference. The breakroom concept gave attendees a reason to linger - grabbing coffee, taking meetings, and engaging with the brand in a relaxed setting rather than a hard sell. The dimensional signage pieces became natural gathering points and photo backdrops, extending brand visibility well beyond the booth footprint.
